PROFILE

Conwell Architects is a family architectural practice established in 2013. The emerging design studio and operates in the fields of building design, architecture and planning of education facilities.

We offer professional architectural design and delivery service, from masterplanning, concept generation, sketch design, through to 3D construction documentation and project/contract management. Our experience covers the delivery of bespoke education, sports, religious and residential projects.

At Conwell Architects, we believe in creating a built environment that has a positive impact on its occupants, exceeds client expectations and contributes to the wider community.

APPROaCH

All of our projects take on first principles approach to design with an aim of equal consideration to occupant needs, integrated technologies, pedagogy delivery, architecture that responds to it's surrounds, interiors that engage and sensitive contextual design.

The scale of the practice offers clients a high level of principal staff engagement and communication across all projects and at all stages. The studio nature of the practice allows for shared knowledge and continual informal reviews of the work.

We seek cost effective building solutions through a creative use of materials, light and volume, in preference to elaborate finishes or complex detailing. The principles of passive environmental design are inherent in all of our projects and are embedded within the initial siting considerations through to building services, building envelope and landscape.
